Community Agreement
Respect & inclusivity
I understand this community is a safe haven for all genders and gender expression. I agree to use gender affirming language (rather than binary or heteronormative terms) and honor pronouns. I understand this community is also a safe haven for people experiencing oppression including but not limited to racism, ableism, and classism. I am here because I want to create a world that honors our human family. I understand that if I use language that perpetuates oppression it will be questioned, considered a learning opportunity, and if it persists may lead to being asked to leave.
Recording
I agree to not record or photograph any sessions without explicit permission.
Sharing material with others
I understand Z has several decades of training and experience that have evolved into their current teachings. I agree to not copy or teach Z’s material (content, images, exercises, handouts, design), without explicit conversation and permission in order to respect the depth of the work and to be responsible in only guiding others where I have mastery. I also understand that Z’s work comes from many lineages that have their own protocols and agreements for being shared and transmitted.
Physical risk
I am aware that Embody More Love offerings consist of a variety of human inquiry and alchemy including dance, coaching, kink, cultural transformation, erotic and grief ritual. I understand that many of these offerings involve physical movement that may, from time to time, be strenuous, and may carry some risk of injury. I accept and agree to discern my own capabilities in regard to my healthy participation in these offerings.
Sobriety
I agree to participate with full presence and without any mind altering substances including though not limited to alcohol, marijuana, or other psychedelics. I understand the offerings themselves are alchemical and are supported by my sober and clear attention.
Self care
I agree to take full responsibility for not exceeding the limits of my body, brain, and soul capacity, by selecting appropriate offerings and consulting Z if there is any question. I am aware Z is not a licensed therapist and that these arts are not a replacement for therapy, medical or psychiatric support. I am also aware that the depth of these offerings may release or uncover emotional and spiritual states that can be at times challenging, as such is the nature of transformation, expanding perception, and the largest scope of well-being. I understand that by participating in this community and these arts, all of my being is involved. I am aware of, and take responsibility for the challenges that may arise physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as I welcome the depth of these arts.
History of injury
I affirm there is no medical or psychological reason or concern to prevent my participation. I accept the responsibility to inform Z of any injury or other condition that might seriously affect my ability to participate. I also agree to inform Z if any injury occurs during class at the time of the injury.
Online attunement
I understand that online instructions may not transmit as clearly as they do in person, and if I am studying online I agree to study in a potentially less personalized environment. I understand some misunderstandings or misattunement may be possible online. I take responsibility to partner with Z and share my experience proactively to let Z know of any gaps in understanding or attunement.
Oath of responsibility
I agree to take full responsibility for any injury (physical, psychological, spiritual) I may suffer while participating in these offerings and arts. I hereby waive and give up the legal right, ability to sue, and the ability to bring class, collective or representative actions for any claim at any time for injury of any sort against Z, Embody More Love, or any person or entity in any way involved therewith.
