Initiation... about the capitol raid

Beloveds,

let's take a breath

the people have spoken and the republicans who were relying on white supremacists have lost the White House, Senate, and House.

Let's breathe that in.

The system is shifting.

The energy of violence and white supremacy we experienced today at the capitol is not new, that energy has been part of our history since the beginning. What's different right now is the emergence of black and brown and women leaders.

Let's breathe that in.

Let's feel them at our back, and the courageous ancestors who have made their rise possible, and each person who focused energy and love and action to make their rise possible.

What's different right now is that some people are SEEING the white supremacy more clearly. This didn't start with 45 and it's not going to end with 45.

Sometimes for those of us who have been socialized as white there can be an initiation moment, an "oh shit reckoning with the truth moment," if we didn't SEE it before. There's nothing wrong with you if you are experiencing this. If you are experiencing shock, rage, terror, grief... all of that is part of your humanity, your heart, your soul responding.

Thank it. "Thank you for these sensations for these emotions that let me know I am alive and I care about the human family."

Breathe all that you are feeling in... make space for it... as if it is clouds and YOUR HEART is the sky.

The political system is shifting. (And like a human brain, it doesn't like change, it doesn't like to feel threatened.)

A new culture of humanity, truth, and care is emerging. It starts with the "internal revolution" your breath, your presence, resting your brain into your hearts wisdom, your ability to focus attention on what inspires you, your ability to hear and respond to your call... the way you are called to contribute. We are in it right now.

I see you. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for being a fellow human with me in this exact moment, with your huge heart and vivid dreams for what's possible.

Let's make a culture so loving, so uplifting of humanity, that nobody longs to return to "normal."
