These dances will deepen your love, trust, and passion. Connect with a beloved on the level of each chakra. Experience gravity as an intimacy with the Mother Earth as we root to fly and surrender to fall. This contact improv class is the physical practice of trust, strength, play, desire, comfort, and connection.
This is a fully clothed class for all genders, who do not have a physical injury. Bring knee pads and an open mind. Previous contact improv is recommended but not required if you have another movement practice. Come with a partner with whom you want to share energy and intimacy.
- More play in your dynamic
- Deeper trust, love, passion, creativity
- Heighten sensitivity to giving and receiving
- Expand intimacy
Testimonials from past participants:
“Zahava is a wonderful, open, mindful teacher. The Love Making Dances for Couples Immersion will open you to an inner revolution of the body and energy awareness. She brings in a balanced practice from eastern energy work, yoga, dance and exercises that awaken part of your being that you have never felt before. This Immersion has deepened our relationship in unforseen and subtly evocative ways. This is the subtle revolution.” ~ Lawrence & Jonathan
“Zahava puts so much of herself into her class and it really makes a difference. She is giving a gift of herself every time she teaches a class and it encourages me to do the same, to live and dance joyfully in my full passion. This is the kind of class that lingers…I know I will notice things I learned with Zahava as my life continues to unfold. It’s not just a dance class, it is a journey into the self with the companionship of a trusted partner.”
“Zahava was present for everything we felt, the sweet, the complicated, and the spacious.”
“This workshop provided a regular space to relax, play, open sensually and be very present with my partner once a week as an intensely intimate date that fed us the rest of the week.” ~Alexis
